Scholarship Description

One-time award for students returning to the classroom after some period of time in which his/her formal schooling was interrupted or a student who has had at least one year of college and is in need of financial assistance to pursue an undergraduate degree. Must be a member of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Sons of the American Legion.

  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school

The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts shares a commitment to providing educational opportunities with donors, families, educators, and students. The CFWM scholarships are available to student pursuing higher education who are residents of Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties in Western Massachusetts. The CFWM interest-free loans are available to residents of Massachusetts who have live in the state for at least five years.
