Scholarship Description

The Research Grant Program Competition awards one or more grants totaling up to $5,000 to support research broadly related to education for library and information science. The Research Grant Award cannot be used to support a doctoral dissertation. At least one applicant in a group submitting a proposal must be a personal member of ALISE as of the deadline date.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
  • Award is available to Canadian citizens
  • Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.

  • Special requirements exist (These are specified in text.)
  • Entry in a contest required
  • Research proposal
