Scholarship Description

The Alaska legislature created the Alaska Education Grant Program (AEG) to provide need-based financial assistance to eligible Alaska students attending qualifying postsecondary educational institutions in Alaska. Students apply by completing the FAFSA annually.

Eligibility Requirements

  • For residents of the following states: Alaska
  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
