Scholarship Description
Scholarship is for graduate students who are citizens of the US, Canada and Mexico who are enrolled full-time in engineering; metallurgy, materials science, chemical, mechanical, electrical, environmental, computer science, and industrial engineering. Students must commit to a paid summer internship at a North American steel producing or steel related company during the summer preceding funding. Students must have a strong interest in a career in the steel industry as demonstrated by an internship or related experience, or who have plans to pursue such experiences. Students may apply in their senior year of college and while enrolled in graduate school. Applications are accepted from 1 Nov through 31 Oct each year.

- 2.5 Minimum GPA
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
