Scholarship Description

Established in memory of Mr. Mort Marks, a member of the Montgomery AFCEA Chapter who made many significant contributions and support to the chapter to further its Educational Foundation and benefactors. It is presented to an ROTC student attending a university located in the AFCEA Mid-South Region including the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and northwest panhandle of Florida student, who is in the Navy or Marine Corps option. Additional requirements include 2 letters of recommendation.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 3.0 Minimum GPA
  • For residents of the following states: Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi
  • Served in Navy
  • Served in Marines
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
