Scholarship Description
Awarded to institutions as block grants to provide pilot project grants for independent beginning investigators to initiate cancer research. The intent is to support these junior faculty in initiating cancer research projects so they can obtain preliminary results that will enable them to compete successfully for national research grants. Awards are made for one to three years, and average $120,000 per year.
Eligibility Requirements
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
- Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
