Scholarship Description
The AACAP Systems of Care Program Award provides child psychiatrists and other mental health providers with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to better serve youth with substance use disorders (SUDs) and co-occurring disorders. The scholarship provides an honorarium for AACAP residents and fellows to learn more about providing care to children in community-based settings by offering the opportunity to participate in the Systems of Care Learning Community which includes: mentoring by members of the Systems of Care Committee, poster presentations on systems of care topics, and attending the Special Program and other relevant Annual Meeting events.
