The Hirsch Family Scholarship was established as a scholarship fund in 2009 to benefit dependent children of active employees of Eagle Materials, Performance Chemicals and Ingredients, Martin Fletcher, Hadlock Plastics, Highlander Partners and any of their majority-owned subsidiaries.
Two one-time grants of $10,000 each for research in hydrology and/or water resources by Ph.D. candidates. Proposals may be in hydrology (physics, chemistry, or biology aspects) or water resource policy sciences (economics, systems analysis, sociology, or law).
