Scholarship Description
The BCBSND Caring Foundation Health Profession Scholarship Program will award thirty $2,500 scholarships to individuals seeking nursing careers or those pursing a non-nursing healthcare related career. Priority will be given to those that indicate willingness to work in underserved communities in North Dakota and those who are pursuing degrees in shortage health professions such as Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), and degrees pertaining to Behavioral Health, as defined by the University of North Dakota’s School of Medicine’s most recent Biennial Report.
