The heat of the summer is here, and so are the July scholarships!

This post highlights nearly thirty great scholarships for students of all kinds to apply for throughout the month of July. Some of these July scholarships are for students pursuing specific majors, whereas others are geared towards students of certain age ranges and geographic locations. As always, there are plenty of scholarships in this post that are more general / open to a wider range of students.

As always, the more specific you can get with the types of scholarships you apply for, the better! So, even if you've been lacking on your scholarship game lately (it is summer, after all!), let this July scholarships post act as a starting point to help you reignite your summer of searching, applying for, and winning, as many scholarships as you can!

  • Amount: $2,000

    Deadline: July 31

    Eligibility: This no essay scholarship is open to high school seniors and undergraduate students in the US.

  • Amount: $10,000

    Deadline: July 31

    Eligibility: Open to all high school and college students, as well as anyone looking to attend college or graduate school in the next year. Must be a US citizen.

  • Amount: $50,000 total ($2,500 each)

    Deadline: July 31

    Eligibility: Open to students ages 13 and older. 

  • Amount: $2,500

    Deadline: July 31

    Eligibility: Open to all students 13 and older!

  • Amount: $10,000!

    Eligibility: Open to all college, and graduate students in the US.

    Eligibility: The CampusReel No Essay Scholarship is available to both high school juniors and seniors.

    Eligibility: Open to female-identifying students who are currently studying or planning to study the fields of STEM - science, engineering, mathematics, or technology. International students are eligible to apply.

  • Amount: up to $12,000

    Deadline: July 1

    Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in forestry, wildlife or marine science at a Louisiana Public College or University. Minimum 2.5 GPA.

  • Amount: $1,000

    Deadline: July 3

    Eligibility: Open to minority high school seniors who plan to earn a baccalaureate degree from an accredited, four-year college or university with financial assistance. Minimum 3.0 GPA.

  • Amount: $1,500 - $4,000

    Deadline: July 4

    Eligibility: Open to Michigan residents who are either currently attending an accredited college or university, or are high school seniors currently enrolled or planning to enroll in college or university. Michigan residents are eligible if attending an accredited college or university outside of the state.

  • Amount: $700 - $2,000

    Deadline: July 10

    Eligibility: Open to graduating high school seniors, new and/or returning college students attending any accredited nonprofit public or independent two or four-year college/university or technical school. Must be a Texas resident.

  • Amount: $2,000

    Deadline: July 11

    Eligibility: Open to incoming college freshmen who are planning to enroll in the 2024 school year. Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Technology, and reside in one of the following countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States, Singapore

  • Amount: $1,000 - $5,000

    Deadline: July 12

    Eligibility: Open to students in high school; undergraduate, graduate or professional school; or trade or vocational school who express activism in the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) and/or lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) communities. International students studying in the US may apply!

  • Amount: Varies

    Deadline: July 12

    Eligibility: Open to North Carolina high school seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA.

  • Amount: Varies

    Deadline: July 15

    Eligibility: Awarded to Maryland high school seniors, full-time and part-time, degree-seeking undergraduates and graduate students. Must be a dependent of a member of the US Armed forces, a state or local public safety employee, a veteran, or POW/MIA suffering from a service-related disability.

  • Amount: $6,000

    Deadline: July 15

    Eligibility: Open to individuals who identify as a cisgender, transgender, or gender non-conforming Black woman, and who are pursuing a STEM-related field.

  • Amount: $1,000

    Deadline: July 23

    Eligibility:Entrants must be current* high school juniors or seniors able to verify their grade level status. Open to US and international students. 

  • Amount: $1,500 

    Deadline: July 26

    Eligibility: Open to students who have been accepted to or are currently enrolled in an ABA accredited law school in the US for the upcoming semester.

  • Amount: $5,000

    Deadline: July 28

    Eligibility: HACU offers multiple opportunities each year but this scholarship is open to undergraduate students attending a 2-year or 4-year HACU Member Institution in a participating market (California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New York, Texas, Wisconsin, and Puerto Rico). Minimum 2.5 GPA. Must be 21 or older. 

  • Amount: $1,000

    Deadline: July 30

    Eligibility: Open to students enrolled in a college or trade program. They can be a GED holder planning to attend one of these institutions during the upcoming semester. The applicant should also be in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. 

  • Amount: $1,000

    Deadline: July 31

    Eligibility: Open to high school, college, and graduate students of all years. Must be a US resident.

  • Amount: $500

    Deadline: July 31

    Eligibility: Open to all full-time college students in the US.

  • Amount: $1,000

    Deadline: July 31

    Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in STEM disciplines. This program is open to students both in, and outside the US; there are no geographical limits for applicants.

     

  • Amount: $500

    Deadline: July 31

    Eligibility: Open to high school and undergraduate students in Ohio. 

  • Amount: Varies

    Deadline: Varies, with some deadlines in July

    Eligibility: Open to enrolled members of The Hopi Tribe who possess a high school diploma or GED certificate. Must be admitted to a regionally accredited college/university and have financial need.
