Scholarship Description
Are you a current (or soon to be) college student who loves crosswords? Put your cruciverbalist skills to the test and participate in our 2024 Crossword Contest! Create and submit your best newspaper-style puzzle for review by our panel of judges. The winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship, paid directly to their school’s financial aid office.
Eligibility Requirements
In order to participate in the scholarship contest, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student for the upcoming Fall semester
- Must use the Crossword Scholarship Application to apply and follow all the directions.
- Must create one, original 15×15 newspaper-style crossword puzzle on My Crossword Maker by the contest deadline
Eligibility Requirements
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
- Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
