Scholarship Description
The Salix Gastrointestinal Health Scholars Program is an annual scholarship program designed to provide financial support to outstanding students living with gastrointestinal disease, as they pursue their higher education goals. The Salix Gastrointestinal Health Scholars Program will award 10 recipients, including students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees, up to $10,000 each.
- Undergraduate Scholar Awards (4 winners)– Eligible students must have applied to, been accepted to, or are currently attending a qualifying institution in pursuit of an undergraduate or vocational/technical degree.
- Graduate Scholar Awards (4 winners) – Eligible students must have applied to, been accepted to, or are currently attending a graduate program at a qualifying institution in pursuit of a graduate degree.
- Working Parent’s Scholar Awards (1 winner) – Eligible students must be parents who have applied to, been accepted to, or are currently attending a qualifying institution in pursuit of an undergraduate, vocational/technical, or graduate degree.
- Single Parent’s Scholar Awards (1 winner) – Eligible students must be parents who have applied to, been accepted to, or are currently attending a qualifying institution in pursuit of an undergraduate, vocational/technical, or graduate degree.
