Scholarship Description

To qualify, an applicant must be a single mother entering or continuing school in an accredited institution in order to learn a marketable skill, which will lead to economic independence. The award is made in two payments of $500.00. The second payment will be received after written confirmation of status and current school transcripts from the recipient. The National Council of Jewish Women l Los Angeles (NCJW l LA) provides scholarships to those who live and attend school in the Greater Los Angeles area, including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and Ventura Counties.

  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
