Scholarship Description
To qualify, an applicant must be re-entering or continuing school in order to learn a marketable skill which will lead to economic self-sufficiency. The applicant must be a woman 25 years of age or older for whom the opportunity to return to school will lead to economic independence. The applicant can be either married or single, with or without children. The National Council of Jewish Women l Los Angeles (NCJW l LA) provides scholarships to those who live and attend school in the Greater Los Angeles area, including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and Ventura Counties.

- For residents of the following states: California
- Must be Female
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
