Scholarship Description

Scholarship for graduating high school seniors from Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden or Hampshire Counties who are in the custody of the Department of Children and Families (DCF), formerly the Department of Social Services (DSS); preference to former or current residents of Hillcrest Educational Centers.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must currently be in high school
  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school

The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts shares a commitment to providing educational opportunities with donors, families, educators, and students. The CFWM scholarships are available to student pursuing higher education who are residents of Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties in Western Massachusetts. The CFWM interest-free loans are available to residents of Massachusetts who have live in the state for at least five years.
