Scholarship Description

The Colorado Council on High School/College Relations (CCHS/CR) is pleased to announce the CCHS/CR Scholarship Program.

PURPOSE:
The purpose of the CCHS/CR Scholarship is to assist Colorado high school seniors or continuing college students, who will attend a college/university within the State of Colorado. CCHS/CR is a voluntary organization and therefore the primary selection criterion for this scholarship will be Volunteerism/Community Service. Sixteen, $1,500 scholarships will be awarded for the purpose of defraying tuition costs. The scholarships will be distributed among the seven CCHS/CR districts and the continuing college students and may be utilized at any of the Colorado Council Member Institutions of Higher Education in the State of Colorado.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or continuing college student.
  2. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident and a resident of Colorado for his or her final two years of high school.
  3. Applicant must be accepted at a Colorado Council Member Institution enrolling in the next academic year.
  4. Applicant must demonstrate significant experience in volunteerism/community service.
  5. Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

  • 2.5 Minimum GPA
  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
