Scholarship Description

The Educational & Memorial Foundation Scholarship of TSCPA makes scholarships available to students who have completed introductory accounting courses and are planning to sit for the CPA exam. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply if they meet the eligibility requirements. Students transitioning from a 2-year community college to a 4-year university are encouraged to apply.

TSCPA awards more than $200,000 in scholarships annually, including four scholarships from the King Foundation of $25,000 each.

Eligibility requirements:

(1) Completed at least 6 semester hours (or equivalent) in accounting.

(2) Majoring in accounting, finance or related field and planning to obtain their CPA designation.

(3) Must have TWO completed letters of recommendation, one from an accounting professor. Students transitioning from a 2-year community college to a 4-year university are encouraged to apply.
