Scholarship Description

The American Angus Auxiliary’s scholarship program annually awards scholarships of varying amounts at the National Junior Angus Show. Recipients are five unmarried young men and five unmarried young women, who will be graduating from high school and pursuing a secondary education. Applicants must be a member of the National Junior Angus Association, have demonstrated an interest in Angus projects, and have a part in such activities at the time of application. Applicants must have received their Bronze and Silver Awards prior to application. Each state is entitled to submit one girl and one boy application for the national scholarships. The two applications must be submitted by the state or regional scholarship chairperson to the American Angus Auxiliary Scholarship Chairperson. If your state does not have an Auxiliary State/Regional Scholarship Chair, a designated representative from the State/Regional Angus Association, or the State Junior Angus Advisors should submit the completed application through mail.

  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
