Scholarship Description
Scholarships are available for the post-high school educational pursuits of the children of employees of direct ARA member companies. Eligibility Requirements: Applicant’s parent employed at least 1 year, whose business organization (Owner) is a member of the ARA in good standing. Parent must be with a hire date at least one year prior to March 15 of the application year. Owners, or children of owners, and those owning over $100,000 of stock in the employing firm are not eligible. GPA Requirements: College/University applicants = at least 3.0, Accredited Trade, Business or Technical School Program applicants = at least 2.0, Renewal applicants (College/University) = at least 2.75, Renewal applicants (Accredited Trade, Business or Technical School) = at least 1.75
