Donor: Beta Phi Mu, International Library and Information Studies Honor Society

Recognizes scholastic achievement among library and information studies students, and encourages the values of scholarship, leadership, and service in its members. Motto is Aliis inserviendo consumor, meaning “Consumed in the service of others.” Eligibility for membership in Beta Phi Mu is by invitation of the faculty of an American Library Association accredited professional degree program.
