Scholarship Description

The Harold Lancour Foreign Research Fellowship is awarded to a professional librarian in order to support a robust LIS-related research project to be conducted in a country outside of Canada/USA. Applications will be judged based on: a) Clarity and completeness of the proposed plan of research; b) Confidence that the study will produce sound results; and c) Applicability to the theory and/or practice of the profession. Research results should be publicly disseminated after the project is complete

Eligibility Requirements

  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
  • Award is available to Canadian citizens
  • Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
