Scholarship Description
The Varkey Foundation has launched the Chegg.org Global Student Prize, to create a powerful new platform to highlight the efforts of extraordinary students throughout the world that are making a real impact on learning, the lives of their peers and on society beyond.
Eligibility
The Chegg.org Global Student Prize is open to all students who are at least 16 years old and enrolled in an academic institution or training and skills program. Part-time students, as well as students enrolled in online courses, are also eligible for the prize. The prize is open to students in every kind of school and, subject to local laws, in every country in the world.
Criteria
The Academy will look for evidence of a combination of some or all of the criteria below:
- Academic achievement
- Impact on your peers
- Making a difference in your community and beyond
- Overcoming the odds
- Creativity and innovation
- Fostering global citizens
Eligibility Requirements
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
- Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
