Tau Beta Pi Fellowship Program

Scholarship Description

Fellowship of $10,000 for Tau Beta Pi members based on merit and need, to finance a year of graduate study for the advancement of engineering education and the profession.

Fellowships are awarded on the basis of scholarship, leadership and service, and the promise of substantial achievement. Applicants are asked to discuss motivation and preparation for advanced study and how their career goals advance the interest of the engineering profession. Strong faculty recommendations are an integral component to the application.

Eligibility requirements:

• Applications are welcome from members or candidates for membership who will be initiated by May 1
• BS/MS dual degree students are not eligible to apply for a fellowship
• Fellows may enroll in graduate programs in any field which enables them to contribute to the engineering profession
