Scholarship Description
The scholarship competition is open to any student currently enrolled in an accredited veterinary or medical technician program, as well as, students that have graduated within six [6] months of the abstract deadline. The Laurie Page-Peck Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established to allow a deserving veterinary or medical technology student with an active interest in zoo veterinary medicine to attend the annual conference of the Association of Zoo Veterinary Technicians. The winner(s) of the scholarship must write a scientific paper for presentation at the Association’s annual conference. The scholarship fund will pay expenses (up to $1,500 USD) in order for the student(s) to attend the AZVT conference and present the paper.

- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
