Scholarship Description
The purpose of the MAES Scholarship Program is to increase the number of Hispanic students completing their higher education goals. Student Excellence Scholarships are available on a competitive basis to MAES student members in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The scholarship applicants are selected on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, leadership, community service, personal qualities, and completeness of the application.
Scholarship Categories: Graduate Scholarship, Founders Scholarship, Presidential Scholarship, and General Scholarships.
Must be enrolled as a full-time student for the upcoming fall semester/quarter.
• Undergraduate student classification is twelve (12) credit hours.
• Graduate student classification is nine (9) credit hours.
• Students on internship/co-op must show proof of enrollment in the internship/co-op program.
• Students enrolled in community colleges must be enrolled in transferable majors to an institution offering
BS/BA Degrees.
Applicants must be MAES Student Members in good standing and registered at mymaes.org by the deadline date stated above.
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 / 4.0.
