Scholarship Description

Applicant or sponsor has to be an FRA non-member, living, on active duty, reserve, retired, or honorably discharged veteran of the Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard. The applicant must be an FRA non-member; spouse; dependent biological, step, or adoptive child; or biological, step, or adoptive grandchild; or biological, step, or adoptive great grandchild of the FRA non-member. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, registered as a full-time student in an accredited college located in the United States of America.

  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens

  • Test scores required
  • Essay required
  • Recommendations or references required
  • Special requirements exist (These are specified in text.)
  • Attach a copy of sponsor's DD-214 (if Veteran) or a voided copy of front and back of current military ID card (if active duty, reserve or retired), if applicable.
