Scholarship Description

This is a fun scholarship for creative students who enjoy expressing ideas through art, and have a genuine interest in comics and visual storytelling. Ideal for students who are majoring in graphic design, fine arts, illustration, animation, or any creative interest, but all majors are welcome to apply.
Bring your boldest ideas. Create a hero, reimagine a villain, or tell a memorable love story. This is a space where your creativity can be loud. All skill levels are welcome!

Step 1: Read the selected novel and choose one of the highlighted characters from the guide to create your spinoff.

Step 2: Create a 10-page comic book spinoff with an artist statement.

Step 3: Submit by the deadline and wait for the winners to be announced!
